GUIDING STUDENTS HOW TO REGISTER FOR TOEFL TEST
1. Register for the TOEFL® iBT test:
- Candidates must bring their original ID card or passport to register for the TOEFL® iBT test. If there is any doubt about the authenticity of these two documents, the Candidate must add another certificate with the Candidate's photo and signature.
- Candidates must register at least 8 working days before today (excluding registration days, holidays and this day)
- Fee: 170 USD / 1 person - including exam fee and registration service fee.
- Candidates must bring their original ID card or passport to register for the TOEFL® iBT test. If there is any doubt about the authenticity of these two documents, the Candidate must add another certificate with the Candidate's photo and signature.
- Candidates must register at least 8 working days before today (excluding registration days, holidays and this day)
- Fee: 170 USD / 1 person - including exam fee and registration service fee.
- Candidates can bring the IIG registration form home to fill out all information but must ensure the correct person will take the exam. In special cases, Candidates can ask someone else to submit the Registration Form and make payment. The substitute registrant must present the original ID card and sign the Registration Commitment of IIG Vietnam. (In case of late registration: Candidates come to the office for registration 5 to 8 working days before the exam date. Late registration fee: additional 25 USD)
- The candidate's previous exam and next exam must be at least 07 days apart (excluding the exam date), including the candidate's previous exam or if the results are canceled immediately after the exam. If violated, the next test day's score will not be accepted and the candidate will lose the entire test fee.
2. Notes after registering for the exam:
- After completing the registration procedure for the TOEFL iBT test at IIG Vietnam, candidates must check their e-mail to receive a Confirmation Ticket from IIG (07 days before the test date).
If the Confirmation Ticket has not been received within the above time limit, the Candidate must call the Registration Office immediately. When receiving the Confirmation Ticket, the Candidate must immediately reply to the e-mail address that sent the Confirmation Ticket so that ETS can ensure that the Candidate will be present at the exam (or if there are any errors, they must immediately notify the Registration Office). At the same time, candidates must print out that Confirmation Ticket so that they can bring it along with their ID card or passport (and other documents - if required) on the day of the exam.
- To change or cancel the exam, candidates must go to the registration office and complete payment procedures at least 5 working days before the exam date (excluding exam days and holidays). Exam transfer fee: 55 USD (including 5 USD service fee). If the exam is canceled on time, candidates will receive a partial refund of the exam fee (75 USD) (according to ETS regulations). If Candidates do not request exam cancellation on time, candidates will forfeit the entire exam fee.
- Right after completing the exam, candidates have the right to choose whether to send the results to the school where they registered to send scores or not, but candidates must consider carefully because if the results are canceled, the candidate will not be graded that exam and Candidates will not be able to get their exam fee back. If you want to restore canceled test scores, candidates must go to the registration office to make payment procedures (25 USD including 5 USD service fee) within 6 days after the test (excluding the test day). Candidates' test scores will be restored and announced on ETS's Web site after 15 working days and score reports will be sent to candidates and registered schools by mail thereafter
- TOEFL results are valid for 02 years and are sent to 04 schools for free/ 1 test from the time of registering for the test (fill in the Code where to send scores in the Score Report Recipients section) in the Registration Form. To change, add, or remove scores or change information in the registration form after completing the registration procedure, candidates must go to the registration office to request changes at least 3 working days before the exam day. If candidates want to request additional places to send scores, candidates must also go to the registration office to complete payment procedures (17 USD/1 school and 05 USD for each service use). 07-10 working days after receiving payment (for US schools), ETS will directly send scores to the school Candidates request to send results.

* Other service fees of ETS:
+ 50USD: test date transfer fee
+ 20USD: fee to restore canceled test scores
+ 17USD: fee for requesting additional transcripts (for each school)
Note: Candidates registering to use the above services with IIG Vietnam need to pay an additional fee of 05 USD/1 time to use the service.
3. When taking the exam:
Candidates only have to bring the Confirmation Ticket that has been PRINTED by the Candidate along with the ID Card or Passport (and bring other documents if requested)
4. After the exam:
Cadidates will know the test scores online 15 working days after the test date and then ETS will also send the Candidate's scores to the place where the Candidate requested to send the scores (7-10 working days after ETS sends the scores, the schools ( of the United States) only received the report card). Candidates can view their scores by logging in on the ETS website or at the link: https://toefl-registration.ets.org/TOEFLWeb/extISERLogonPrompt.do
Candidates must use the Username & Password recorded in the Confirmation Ticket that the Candidate received to view the results in the Score section.
