Those who learn English can know the meaning of Expect, Hope, AnticipateLook forward to. But how to use them in the right context is not easy.
 
The Way Of Using Expect - Hope - Anticipate & Look Forward To

1. EXPECT: We use this verb when we want to show the trust that something will happen in the future.
    E.g: She expected him to arrive on the next train.
          
2. HOPE: This means "hope".
    E.g: He hopes that his favorite TV program would not be cancelled.
         
3. ANTICIPATE: This verb means "to make decisions", act and beleive that another action or event will happen.
    E.g: He anticipated the fall in the stock market by selling all his shares.
          
4. LOOK FORWARD TO: This verb phrase means "joyfully waiting for something to happen in the future".
    E.g: He was looking forward to a long holiday once the contract was signed.

* Attention: Look forward to is often used at the end of the letter - expressing expectations for the other party to respond.
    E.g: I look forward to hearing from you again.
            I am looking forward to getting information from you soon.
